About me
I am a husband, father, researcher, academic, and ultimately someone with an insatiable passion for travel. I make it my mission to help others experience the world in ways they never thought possible, without spending a fortune to get there.
I don't just research exceptional travel. I live it.
Every year, I fly more than 150,000 aeronautical miles, exclusively in premium cabins, using a strategic combination of points, miles, and cash. Despite traveling extensively, I've never paid more than $2,500 for an individual flight when I choose to book a cash fare. But my approach to travel goes beyond finding a good fare.
With a PhD and a background in academic research, I bring an analytical mindset to every booking. I examine routes, compare redemption opportunities, evaluate loyalty programs, and explore options that are often overlooked. I have had the opportunity to turn my passion for travel into a career, working with notable travel outlets including The Points Guy, Going.com, and Point Me.
Through years of researching, writing about, and personally navigating the world of travel rewards, I've developed an extensive understanding of airline loyalty programs, credit card benefits, points and miles, and the intricacies of premium travel. I know how to identify exceptional fares, maximize the value of rewards, and piece together creative booking strategies that make extraordinary travel surprisingly attainable. And as a husband and father, I've experienced firsthand what it takes to travel internationally as a family. From finding multiple premium cabin seats to selecting the right accommodations, I understand that the best booking isn't always the cheapest one—it's the one that makes the most sense for your needs.
My goal is to bring that same expertise and attention to detail to every traveler I work with, helping them experience more of the world while making the most of every dollar and point they spend.
